Poetry "...the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings, recollected in tranquillity." William Wordsworth

I am a Poet

For as long as I can remember I have loved poetry, whether it is poetry as lyrics, the feeling of poetry found in nature such as the sunset, the rhythm of the ocean or the movement of ballet. In many ways it is unquantifiable; still I attempt to define it.

Maybe this is to capture it’s essence in an effort to give it more weight. Like ballet or the opera, poetry can often times be viewed as flimsy or unconvincing – lacking a real message.
